Papers Position paper on the proposed revision of the EPBD
eu.bac welcomes the Commission’s proposal for the review of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) with a view to achieving a zero-emission building stock by 2050. We however believe the use of existing, smart and cost-effective technologies could be incentivised further in order to foster the twin green and digital transitions. Our public position document outlines suggestions to achieve this. We are committed to continuing to support the institutions by providing our expertise in the next steps to improve and successfully adopt the review.

Papers eu.bac one-pager on measures for monitoring indoor environmental quality in the EPBD
In this paper, we propose the first step in the revision of the EPBD to improve Indoor Environmental Quality (IEQ) across the EU. Introducing a minimum set of parameters that should be monitored would open the door for possible parameter value requirements at the national level or at the EU level in the future. Furthermore, making the parameter values visible to occupants would incentivise intervention and optimisation of IEQ.
