national regulations regarding energy saving and energy performance
of buildings require a proof of the energy efficiency by testing
and certification. Home and building automation products and
systems are strongly involved and need a European Quality
Assurance System.
For this reason, leading companies, internationally active
in the sector Home and Building Automation, have established
in Brussels on the 26. February 2003, the European Building
Automation and Controls Association – eu.bac.
